TLDR version; sounds great/works good/all features work fine *except screen mirroring*/camera works great but oddly has LEDs that light up (regular IR LEDs for night vision you can't see the light from)/supplied without screws or Brackets / Will not fit standard double din - You will need to trim or trim the aftermarket bezel to fit. / Doesn't work with Android 10 unless you have a software fix that says you need it in the manual and the seller isn't the fourth to come up with it / iPhone X and older just shows the screen by plugging the phone in, but the sound is terrible and randomly shakes when flipping. Reader's version: It came in an absolutely indescribable box. Everything in the photo is included but nothing else. This means no screws or brackets are included. However, I have no idea what threads it has for the screw holes. I just have to play it by ear, but it's a great cause for sure. This is work. It doesn't ONLY work, it works VERY VERY well. Grotesque, actually damn good. For $60. What kind of. I have no words for how outright theft this is. Yes, maybe the on-screen icons are a bit dated and no, you can't choose between 256+ colors for the buttons, and no, there is no PWM on the buttons, it just changes drastically from red to blue to green, but Age. If I could swear on this, there still wouldn't be a complete picture of how amazing this car stereo is for the dollar! So, backstory from two weeks ago. My little sister calls me and asks if I know anyone who installs car stereos. I grew up in the 80's and 90's. I can't tell you how many car radios I have installed. And didn't ruin it. So I ask her how much she is willing to invest in this endeavor. 120 dollars. Okay, so on to the tried and true pioneer of One Din. But she wants to replace the speakers in all four doors. So JVC for $30 a pair, which people seem to like a lot. Add a pigtail and mounting bracket kit and you're good to go? nope She wanted to see if she could get a touchscreen. I'm like. You can't even get a $120 radio and have a touchscreen. But I told her I would come back to her. Dooblidoos, internet searches, random shady websites hit me like a brick! Spring. Why not see if I can pull this off with a $90-100 radio, maybe a set of speakers, just find out what old speakers are still good and cross your fingers. But then I came across this beauty. Do not get me wrong. I have a factory Alpine 1200w system with 10 speakers in my car. A14 "Dodge Dart GT. Damn it, I wouldn't dare put it in. Also, it would be a huge pain to just assemble it, but still. I know it's good to eat. But man ah. It's good! Maybe not very good haute cuisine, but damn good for an Applebee! And I crossed my fingers just hoping it could be a good McDonalds! iPhone XR screen mirroring is almost seamless. Mirror link to Android, hmm. Didn't work for me? I have Android 10 and it's fine. Yeah, don't blame the radio, blame Google for constantly messing around with permissions and changing things. I hate Apple, probably more than most, though. Sometimes 20 generations of the same old man is good! *PS please sir/madam, does the seller post the OS update link yet?!* I didn't have a chance to test the rear camera, but hello! The radio captures multiple stereo channels without an antenna, even a connected person. Try Pioneer. And Bluetooth works fine, connection quality is just as good, dammit, it's got a whole 6-8 logos from different manufacturers (I'm sure that's copyright infringement, but I didn't see anything. Oh wait, look there!* run * ) Most stunning of all is the sound. I'm serious. No, there's no point in listening to videos on YouTube or here and trying to get an idea of what something sounds like, you don't see how good a high quality 4k TV looks on a 1080p TV. That makes no sense. You just have to make the jump. I'm very happy and I think my sister is too. Once I figured out how to install Dedgum. Note. If you're wondering if this thing fits in your car, answer the 1,000+ questions asked here. Everyone a favor, huh? look at your car And ask yourself this question. You have one dyne, which is a narrow rectangle, and then you have a double dyne, which is still a rectangle but much closer to a square. If you can't figure it out, just pay someone to select and install a stereo for you, okay? This will save you and others from heartache. Yes, even if you have a double noise, it might not look like it came from the factory, but guess what? There is nothing else. Why? Because it's not a FACTORY stereo. This is an aftermarket stereo. What your kids should pay attention to: What you need to install any stereo in your car: Knowledge of DIN dimensions *See above *Know how to remove car bezel and factory radio *Also watch on youtube *Knowledge of soldering and heating shrink. * Look it up on YouTube if you don't know * Knowledge of color coding and color coding cross-references by car make and model and car standard wiring * YouTube/Google will be your friend * Once you've learned all this knowledge THEN ask yourself. Does this radio fit in your car? And if so, are you willing to solve this problem through research instead of looking for answers? It can be difficult and a new experience, but life lessons are a person! Learn them! You may not know everything about anything or even much (I don't know), but ANYONE can google it. And yes, folks, that's a life lesson. Maybe not great, but you never know until you try.
