The jar is even and thick, but I have a problem with the lid and the plastic seal that closes the lid. This will prevent the liquid from squirting out right away, but it won't be completely leakproof in the long run. Even after tightening the caps, air slowly gets in or out. I've used them to store rare whiskey and bourbon samples but after about 3 months the alcohol in them seems to be slowly evaporating and discolouring.
