This cute little bug arrived today! He immediately became my new best friend during lockdown. Baby looks MUCH BETTER in person. I mean he's definitely kawaii. Except cute. His facial expression was a good choice. Slightly neutral, but pleasant. I can't help but smile when I look at him. The material of the head and limbs is strong but soft to the touch. Fine hair is painted on his head and it suits me. I think sewn on hair would look a little creepy. The orientation they chose for the hands is great. He can hold both accessories. But there is a "but" that I'll talk about in a moment. Hands along with hair, eye makeup and of course all his vocal cooing gives this guy LOTS of expressiveness. He seems to come alive when I'm not looking. Now for the "but" that prevented me from giving it 5 stars: put the bowl of broth to your mouth (my favorite). The same with the frog. As I briefly mentioned above, the eyes are drawn. If it were doll eyes or painted spheres it would look much more realistic. As if he could jump out of his capsule at any moment. It's already a great addition to my collection and will certainly help me to calm down a bit in these stressful times. The power in him is strong.
