It's a little loud at first, but you get used to it. I brought it out originally to see what my dogs would do with it. I have 3 dogs, and 1 is scared of it, but to be fair he's scared of everything. The other 2 like it. It repeats everything, even sentences, just in a little higher pitch. So when my dogs get tired of it my kids start messing with it. At first it was annoying hearing it all the time, but I'm getting used to it!

This hamster is adorable and my toddler loves it. The voice pitch is VERY high, though, and can be difficult to understand when it repeats children/female voices. Also, I’m disappointed that it’s not very sturdy.my toddler isn’t rough with it but has dropped it from about 12 inches high, and would then start getting buggy. i purchased this for my one year old grandson but my 3 year old grandson took him over. They both absolutely love the hamster. It's been over a month and the 3 year old still sleeps with the hamster, well worth the money!

Cut toy for a 4 to 6 year old. Toy will fit in an adults hand. Was smaller than I thought it would be but is cute. I would buy it again.

Lord what did I get myself into. This hampered us super cute and does what it says. I got this for my 6mo for Christmas. My 9 year old son loves to play with it as well. This lies the problem lol. The item is way smaller than it looks online but still cute and I'm hoping my grandson that I got it for will love it. Must be careful though as it has a lot of small parts! Use only under direct supervision with little ones!

My granddaughter 1 year old loves to gibber gabber to this hamster it grabbers back to her and she thinks this is so funny. My 3 year old grandson calls him Charlie and talks to him like a little friend.It’s adorable and brings a smile to everyone’s face.

My daughter got this for her second birthday and it quickly became her best friend. She carried it everywhere and talked to it all the time. However, three months later it died. We put in new batteries (even though we'd just changed them the week before) and tried to move the head which worked before. It was just dead.
