Review on Coghlans Electric Pump Battery Powered by David Flores

OK. This little bug scared us. We took this thing to blow up 2 inflatable sofas/mattresses on a secluded beach with no electricity. He rocked on the first mattress for about a minute and then stopped! I was so angry. BUT THEN. My husband played with it a bit and found that if you twist it a little it works. Not sure about all of this but it worked and it blew out BOTH sofas/double mattresses on a set of D batteries and then continued pumping extra air as the vinyl softened over the next few days. On the 3rd day we used the pump to empty one of the sofas and then the battery finally died. We had to "roll up" another sofa to fold it up. For a $10 battery pump, we're happy; In the beginning I was scared, but in the end I was happy.
