I bought it as a gift for my niece, 3.5 years old. This is a relatively small set with 7 different art activities, they all use stickers and glue stick so it's not as messy as other sets. It would be very easy to take something like this with you when you take your kids on trips or to see other people. At home. This is a lovely set and a great way to keep the kids busy. I am planning to buy another one for my 16 month old son so we can do some activities together. UPDATE: couldn't wait. Bought another one for my 16 month old son. Obviously he's too young to do anything on his own, but we just "helped" him a little more and he really enjoyed himself. So far we've only made one giraffe. We plan to send them to grandparents someday.
