I ordered 2 of these and BOTH were incorrectly attached. It's quite difficult to put the pieces together with my picture and it took me a while to diagnose my problems because it appeared to be connected correctly, but each row of 5 wires is correct left to right (red, white, green, black, yellow), but the banks are reversed. Aka the other end is flipped on both sides. So the top row on the motherboard side is the bottom row on the other side. And the bottom row on the motherboard side is the top row on the other side! I used this for a device other than my PC. And I'm glad I didn't connect anything to my PC as the pins would be swapped top to bottom. I strongly advise you to stay away. It is very likely that this could damage your motherboard or connected device. Or it doesn't work at all. I would have thought it was a mistake 1 time but BOTH mine were pinned wrong. I declined both, so they work now.
