Toys as decoration? I think so.
I bought these little gems for one reason: to spray paint. One of my brats wanted a $250 chrome plated dinosaur skeleton from the Z gallery and I thought fuck it no! We can spray paint some toys for less than $20. Here's what we did, and these little prehistoric beasts now decorate my living room. 10/10 would buy again.
