Review on Hogwarts Astronomy Castles LEGO Minifigures by Alan Sitton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A magnificent but fragile addition to Hogwarts Castle!

Lego nerd and recent college graduate here. I enjoyed putting this set together and I think it's great both individually and in combination. However, it breaks easily. One star deducted for that. Nevertheless, I recommend this product. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: This set has great parts. I especially like the greenhouse which has a lot of rare items. The potions room and the tower also have a lot of nice details, and I like the telescope on the astronomy tower. As presented this set looks really great. The characters are super cool too, and this set is the only one where you can get them all. Nice to see Professor Slughorn in a widely shared set. Hedwig with wide wings also comes into its own. When this set is combined with the rest of the castle, the whole model becomes gigantic (see my photo). Cons: Although this set is very detailed, it falls apart easily, especially when the greenhouse is combined with the rest of the elements. tower or at the connection of the upper and lower tower house. It was quite frustrating as there were two instances where I wanted to complete the build but put in too much effort and the entire structure fell apart. For this reason I took it more as an exhibition. While this is a little disappointing I don't think that should deter people from getting the set as it still has a lot of cool features. So I would recommend this set. If you found this review helpful, please let Revain know by clicking Helpful. Thank you!
