About what to expect

UPDATED after 9 months of continuous game use. Pros: - The design is generally acceptable, no flimsy plastic or warped parts and other nonsense that you sometimes get from fakes. - Adjustable internal weights. I weigh them to the milligram; I noticed a difference of only 0.015g between the heaviest and the lightest weight, so that's enough for me. After all, they are not intended for laboratory use. Software drivers that actually work. Razer has finally addressed most of its shortcomings, but for most other clones this has become the Achilles' heel. Even Corsair struggles with the software, their mice are great but the drivers suck. Convenient button layout and ergonomic design. I've been using mice with MMO style keyboards since they came out and it feels right to me. Cons: - The color of the scroll wheel illumination is constantly out of sync with the color of the rest of the mouse. You can adjust the color in the drivers, but you can't solve this problem with any of the methods I found. Doesn't affect functionality but looks silly and will be annoying if you're picky about things like this. Aside from the fact that it's a mouse covered in colorful lights with a dragon logo; Some people love it, but we all know it's just a gaming jewelry. The driver software is pretty much what you would expect from a Chinese team on a budget. Brutally efficient and full of typos. No seriously, expect typos in the main menu items and grammar so simple you could say it came out of a dictionary. Again, this doesn't break the feature, but it will make you shake your head at this crap. - BUTTON: After about nine months of use, the left mouse button now sometimes double-clicks. Now it's mostly tolerable, but the problem is well known, in a few months it will be completely unusable. This gives the mouse about half the lifespan of my previous Razer Naga for about half the price. I wasn't very happy with the lifespan of the Naga as I had a 2008 OG Naga which still works well but is chipped. What does it take these days to get a solid mouse with good drivers? So it's a Chinese imitation that works the same as what it's imitating but is even less durable, although it looks and feels quite sturdy. This is a good budget mouse choice if you need a new one now and don't have the money for something better right now. I was really happy with it initially, it makes a strong first impression in many ways, but going in less than a year is a pretty big black mark, made up for only by the fact that it's fairly cheap and functional while it's running keeps, is saved from uselessness. If you can get a longer lifespan, that could be good value.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Fading
