I have sensitive ears and usually all my earrings are hypoallergenic, but even with these earrings I have problems. The ears begin to hurt after 2-3 days, and sometimes after several hours. I had high hopes for these earrings which claim to be gold plated sterling silver. On day 4 my ear started to get uncomfortable but no pain or redness. But for one of my ears it became more uncomfortable. I decided to remove them. One earring was fine, no discoloration or anything like that. But the other ear started to hurt, I took off this earring and found that the earring had turned black. I clean my earring and ear and think maybe it is but no this earring is still black and my ear hasn't bled or anything and the pain is gone. These earrings are a lot smaller than I thought. But I figured they might work, so I was fine with that. But they didn't work and the earring changed color. Only one earring changes color, not both. Normally if I made earrings cheap both would.
