I only tried this shampoo because I thought people would highly recommend it but I'm beginning to wonder why. First, this shampoo caused brittle hair. That's already a very bad sign because I only had a different shampoo and that was because it completely dried out my hair. Yes, I have an oily scalp, but that doesn't mean I want my hair to be completely dehydrated, it just makes the problem worse! So the claim that it cleans the roots and moisturizes the tips is completely false. If you have an oily scalp that is prone to build-up and you feel the need to wash it every day, I recommend looking elsewhere. The two shampoos that have worked for me are silicone-free and contain aloe. Garnier Pure Clean and all their blends with coconut water and aloe vera. Clear shampoos are usually better for oily hair, and milky formulas can cause build-up.
