They fit my 1.5 year old perfectly. I filled an ice cube tray with colorful watercolors and gave her some makeup swabs to drip colored water on. The downsides of these drops actually turned out to be features for us as she doesn't yet have the motor skills to use them properly. She just stuck the end in the paint and split it, and she sucked up a few drops. Then I put it on a cotton pad and rubbed it again, and the drops fell out. However, I find them difficult for a child who is just learning to use them properly because they drip when held upside down.
