This mouse is hence 50% less noisy. You can't refer to them as Silent, as that has nothing to do with them. This was a complete waste of my time and money, and I will never do it again. Comfortable, the hand rests naturally (despite my long fingers), and both the left and right buttons are surprisingly silent (though I have encountered much quieter). The negatives: Poor wheel! just FANTASTIC! Only with cheap and out-of-date (that is, broken) mouse have I experienced the loud crunch that occurs when you press the scroll wheel.
