I am a huge fan of SOL Republic products because you get such fantastic sound and great product quality for a fraction of the cost of competitors like Beats . I was skeptical about entering the world of Bluetooth headphones just because I thought they were too new, but I decided to pull the trigger and it helped that Revain was selling them at a great price at the time ($119 versus $180). I'm still testing the Amps Air extensively, but so far I'm very impressed with the sound quality and fit of the headphones. They are very snug in my ears and if you choose the right ear tips and seal the ear canal completely you can hear high and low frequencies very clearly. The battery life is around 3 hours as advertised and the charging case is pretty slick as it also charges your phone. The lid feels a little flimsy and won't snap in place, so we'll see how long that holds up. Finally, when tested as a phone headset, the person on the far end says I sound far away and that they can hear a lot of background noise. I had a hunch this would happen since the mic is on the earcup itself, but my main goal in purchasing this item was to have great sound for listening to music on the go or while exercising. I really like the small form factor of the headphones. and case. They don't fall out and are very comfortable. And again they sound great! As time goes on and my experience changes I will definitely update this review. Until then, I have no real complaints about the Amps Air. UPDATE 1/20/2017: After testing the Amps Air on 12/27. Got it and charged it fully, now all I have to do is charge the case fully because they've lasted so long! I am impressed! I listen to it every day for about 30 minutes on my commute and wonder how long it would take before I would need to fully charge the battery again. Pretty good. It's also worth noting that the left earbud initially fell out until I downsized the earbud by a size. So now they stop. My ear canals are different sizes in each ear, so all you have to do is find the right size. If you can get a good push, you can hear the bass really well. I'm still excited about this product!
