Bought 2 sets of these lights; only six. The lights are approximately 4" in diameter and 1/2" deep. The headlights are made of plastic and the bezel is painted silver. I installed 4 lights in a wine storage room in my finished basement. Each flashlight requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). The lights can be attached or hung to metal using the magnet built into the battery base, or taped to a flat surface using the included double-sided foam tape. I installed 4 lights on the ceiling 18" apart using the supplied tape. The tape is sticky and provides a permanent hold. So make sure you place it correctly before applying pressure to stick the tape firmly. I was concerned that the lights would be too close together and not lit, but they work well and come on as soon as the door to the room is opened. There's another large lamp in the middle of the room that's plugged in and can provide extra light when needed, but these lamps illuminate the bottles just enough to read the labels and stay on as long as they sense movement. The lights were quick and easy to install and look great in my space.
