The material and construction is excellent, the mohair is soft and not itchy

I have tried many different types of girths for my girth prone mare and so far we have had no problems with this one. Material and workmanship are excellent, the mohair is soft and does not scratch. We've done several trips on the 10-12 mile trail and my mare is comfortable. I have to pull myself up during our rides, but I think that's because I don't use the "give" that the harness has. So far I am very happy with this purchase.
