I was so fed up with my 'smart' Christmas tree that I turned off all the lights and rewound our 9 foot tree with three threads. They look great but don't have the yellow hue that traditional Christmas tree lights have, although they come close. They are dimmable, but the dimmer I used only reduced their brightness by a tiny step. They're not too white, bright lights that people who buy them for their Christmas tree are probably afraid of. The wire is practically invisible, but I plan on removing it from the tree before packing it up in a couple of weeks. Update - after a year the plug jumped out and one of my fairy lights is not lighting. I replaced the included plug with the extra set of lights I had and a string of lights to light up. Two stars are deducted due to this error. Candles get very hot. In comparison, by adding bulbs to a nearby garland, these garlands are whiter than I originally hoped.
