These boots are the only shoes that we can still pass on after they have become too small. The lace is a bit too long, you have to stuff it into the boot or tie a knot to avoid tripping over it. But there is whining at the highest level. The boots are warm, soulful and unobtrusive. My husband finds them too bulky but our son regularly reaches for the boots rather than the alternatives. Something else about the size: At Sorel, it is repeatedly stated that they are small. We bought the 36 when my son had just outgrown the 35, also hoping the boot might still fit next year. The boots are quite big. At the same time we bought a pair of low shoes from Geox, also in size 36, and they are smaller.
