The first scooter arrived without batteries (the description says they are included) and when we put new batteries in the scooter the light didn't work. It looks like it has been used even though I bought a new product. I asked for a replacement so we'll see if the new one works.

I bought this for my 12 year old who is 5ft tall. According to the manufacturer's Q&A, the maximum height is 41 inches, but we only have 31 inches, so it's too short. It's shorter than the scooter we were trying to replace. And we checked, everything that is expandable is there. Very disappointed.

I ordered 2, had to return 1 as the light didn't work. The kids then get them and the batteries are dead in 5 minutes of use. This is a durable scooter, but it's not intended for teenagers. My 10 year old could only go up 1 foot on the scooter and the handlebars didn't go up enough. I would rate these for kids ages 7 and under.

Gave it to my daughter for Easter only to be disappointed the light didn't work. They are sending out a replacement which is expected in 8 days which is another huge disappointment with such a long delay for a damaged item. Needless to say my daughter was very sad and I am very disappointed. Hopefully it will work when the replacement finally arrives. But my expectations are not very high.

EDIT: Make the wheels glow! You just have to go fast enough! They only work if they scale fairly quickly. But they really shine. Rating increased to 4 stars. The deck lights up normally, but nothing else. It advertises wheels and a stem, but it's not. I was very disappointed. The little one was happy because she got it at Easter and didn't know any better, but I wasn't happy.

Opened the box and followed the instructions in order. New batteries inserted and so - does not burn. Tries to spin the wheels and they light up briefly; but not the deck. Check the batteries and the deck works. The rear wheel of the scooter literally put on the ground - the light went out again. Yes, the battery box was sealed before the scooter was placed on the ground. Sounds like a short somewhere on the rear wheel.

My son chose these specifically for the LED lights and unfortunately they don't work. Screw the plate back, pressed the power button and nothing. He drove it to see if the wheels needed to be turned to work and still nothing. We're a bit disappointed but let's leave it as the scooter is still "cool" without the headlight. I hope they fix this problem.

My 6 year old twins love the lights. It looks very cool at night when the wheels are illuminated. The light on the platform goes out harshly as the scooters hit the slightest bump. I had to modify the battery box with a piece of cardboard to increase the number of failures. Now it works better. It seems they have to decide this. Overall a great scooter.

The dimensions are completely wrong and this scooter is designed for a child 4-5 years old and under. The handlebar length can be up to 31 inches, which is very short, and the foot space base only fits one foot, so you can't place two feet if you just slide.
