Opened the box and followed the instructions in order. New batteries inserted and so - does not burn. Tries to spin the wheels and they light up briefly; but not the deck. Check the batteries and the deck works. The rear wheel of the scooter literally put on the ground - the light went out again. Yes, the battery box was sealed before the scooter was placed on the ground. Sounds like a short somewhere on the rear wheel.
