When my daughter drove it the steering wheel broke immediately. Injuries, cuts and bruises. Seen in this light, the cheap metal simply cracked. Bad design. Buyer warning!

Update: Rear wheels completely worn out after one month. Not at all happy with it. My daughter has the same and her rear wheels are still in perfect condition. My big 7 year old loves this scooter! Very durable!

It has lights on the wheels that my kids love. The board is wide and smooth. You can adjust the height with the safety lock. It's pretty firm and doesn't slip. My kids didn't manage to accidentally pick the lock. There are three locking positions for height adjustment. Children from 2 to 7 years old can enjoy everything. It's worth the money. I'm so glad I bought this for my kids.

We bought this scooter and within the first week of use my 5 year old son broke his brakes. We got a replacement from Revain and the same thing happened again. We live in a city so sidewalks are sometimes uneven. Maybe that's what's causing the brakes to click. I'm not sure, but we liked how solid the rest of the scooter looked. Unfortunately we never really enjoyed it.

Broken after two months. My daughter cannot hold the handle straight while riding. Scott pulled to the right. I looked at the underside and saw that the bent metal wire that was supposed to drive the wheels just snapped off on the right side. Bad use of metal. I'm just glad my daughter wasn't hurt. Only used for two months and then only indoors (99% indoor use). It's a shame. My daughter really liked it, especially the light up wheels.

My boys love this scooter but the quality seems to have dropped. I originally bought this scooter 5 years ago and the first one lasted a good 2 years before we had to replace it. Only five scooters in 5 years as I have 2 boys. Ordered two of these as Christmas gifts for our 7 year old twins. Rear hubcaps/brakes came off on both scooters within 2 months. After 4 months of use, the handlebar stem has lost part and the whole stem is wobbly, making the scooter unusable. Contacted Ally Direct when a hub cap broke on the first scooter. This scooter has every chance of being a great scooter. Our six year old daughter loved it from the start. great color, bright wheels etc. Unfortunately, like several other reviewers, the brake cover broke in less than a week (5 days). It's made from clear plastic so the light-up twin wheels are more visible at the back, but the plastic is very stiff and not meant to flex.
