Review on TEFLON Coated Travel Umbrella with Windproof Technology by Jill Ross

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nice design but with too thin, flexible and brittle metal

Bought this umbrella after my favorite golf size ☂️ broke in the garage wind tunnel. It's nice and compact. I have a coat pocket big enough to fit in and carry with me in case I'm caught out by a rain I didn't anticipate. I like the design, but there is a lot of detail, and to save money and reduce weight, the metal rods that make up the structure's frame are very thin and flexible. If you decide to buy this ☂️ keep the bracelet on your wrist and keep it folded for as long as possible. I only dropped it once when it was being used to bend metal. Trying to bend it back will only make the metal brittle and break. The broken metal then pierces the canvas. Then, trying to maintain the structure, the tiny threads holding the metal are torn. Use your hand to bring it together. If you try to mount it to something and it slips off, you're bending the metal. Maybe I'll give my broken umbrella to someone on the street who looks storm-soaked and find another windproof umbrella, hopefully made of thicker metal.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Will write later
