The umbrella looks nice & appears to be functional. However, I haven’t used it in a rain storm yet. I’m not sure of its durability. The first one received did not close properly. The closure (& opening button) button did not work on it. However, revain sent me a replacement. I’ve only tried it once so it’s too early to effectively rate sturdiness or durability. Buy with caution!

Hard to give complete rating, it hasn't rained since I took delivery.But, I did take it outside and open/close it. It is quite big, controller works well. Took a bit of work adjusting to get strap to hold closed to put sleeve on.I'm considering a 2nd unit so I have in house and car/travel.

Very nice umbrella! I've never really been wowed by an umbrella but this one is super! Opens and closes like a charm and feels really sturdy. It's a little heavier than the other umbrellas I've owned that were the same size, but I don't mind that.it's not that big of a difference. Fits nicely in my car door. This umbrella is not all that large or sturdy. Wish I went back to the Totes brand we had for years. This just doesn't appear to have the quality construction or size that I expected, but this is just based on the initial delivery -- haven't had a chance to try it out.

I bought it thinking I was going to be able to use it in the park for shade but it kept folding every time wind blew. Great for rain but not wind proof.

I love this sturdy umbrella that opens when the button is pushed and closed with a putting. You do need to be moderately strong to compact it to fit back in its case. It is sturdier than other umbrellas. Nice, large size.

The umbrella is as advertised. It fits in my backpack and does it's job when it rains. It is difficult to close the umbrella (takes a lot of strength). It is well made though and holds up to the wind fairly well.

Don't know why all the negative posts about this umbrella. The wooden handle makes it especially nice looking. So pleased I ordered more for my family

I like the push button for expanding and retraction. It’s really sturdy and big enough for two people if needed. I got it for this fall for walking to and from campus. It’s also pretty compact when closed for being a decent sized umbrella once opened. Good quality and material.

This umbrella is well made, but the handle doesn't fit in the small space between my car seat and the door. It may be a bit unwieldly for those with small hands.

Awesome little umbrella to leave in the car for unexpected weather. Smooth open and closing mechanism, sturdy against normal wind. Decent size to protect you from the rain.

Heavy and after using the close button it is hard to push down the rest of the way to close it. In addition, the strap that holds all the umbrella folds together is almost too short. I struggled to get the velcro to meet and overlap. Better to have a little too much length than be skimpy.
