I had a total hip replacement about 10 days ago. I can't bend down to clean the litter box for my two cats. I ventured into this extended scoop with little expectation. I'm amazed at how strong the shovel is; and it's still light enough that I can operate it with one hand in a walker. I use a dry paper towel to clean it after each use. Being able to clean the tray like this is probably a small thing, but it helps me maintain independence.
