Sometimes I've bought protective films on the internet and been terribly disappointed. The screen protectors were dry or the edges were terribly wet glass. It was perfect: the easiest to install screen protector I've ever used. The packaging contained a 1/4 inch high rubber frame that lay within a rigid cardboard "book" that protected the large sheets; Quality thinking and execution. The protective film feels smaller than the screen, but the edges are well finished. If they don't stick they break easily but given the amount of glue on the glass I'm sure they will hold up well. I would recommend that you first place the screen protector on top of the screen protector to get a good feel for the size difference and then set them aside and begin the installation process. First I wet cleaned the entire table – three times! I then used my cleaner and microfiber cloth on my tablet, then I used an alcohol wipe. When I unwrapped the dry cloth from the setup kit, a lot of random fibers fell out of the edges, so I shook it off the setup table. I have used the light touch dust removal pad and have found it very helpful. I removed the protective film and attached the protective film to one long edge, then gently pressed the center and then made a side to side transverse motion. Another. I applied enough pressure (e.g. with a squeegee) to move a single front piece towards the edges. Oops! I missed a big chunk of dust and it made a nasty blister so I lifted the edge (flexing the liner slightly), used the dust pad very lightly and reapplied the liner, turning center out edge. Almost perfect (a word I rarely use). There are two places where the glass is glued to the bezel, they are slightly lower and they needed some machining to make it 100%. I tend to buy older hardware so it's possible the other screen protectors have dried out since I put them on a four year old phone but it was a pleasure to install them on the P11 which is a new version is. I have no doubt that if you go to a great store and pay $40 you can get 10% thicker with a better oleophobic finish but for my money those are just superlatives. Buy now!
