The handle is made mostly of cheap, lightweight plastic (although it's sealed to keep water out) and has a small counterweight at the bottom to help with balance too. It also has a fairly strong but very wide head attachment point. Overall quality is slightly lower than competing products and is clearly only meant to last a few weeks before replacement. The only positive is that the head does not fall off. The replacement razor heads are terrible. They have multiple blades, which makes them better than single-blade disposable razors, but that's where the benefits end. Unlike other manufacturers, these heads only last for 2-3 shaves per day, not the industry standard 6-8 shaves per day. Gillette blades fall into the medium-sharp category, which is more a matter of user preference, but they scratch and rip very easily (that's how you tell they absolutely need to be replaced). They don't work very well on longer hair (if you wait more than a day between shaves) and in those cases require multiple passes to have any effect. In general, the cost is not at all at the level of competitors. Find another manufacturer.
