I have a Mini Cooper R56 '08 Tool works but not perfect Spark plug Well made material This socket is a rubber grommet Assenmacher socket and easily remove the spark plug from the spark plug hole I used a Tekton 3/8" extension socket on the Assenmacher. Cons: Now the problem begins. When I put in a new spark plug the Assenmacher spark plug comes out because the tool is tight on the spark plug because of the rubber grommet, I then tighten the spark plug to 20Nm with a torque wrench and when I try to remove the tool the extension wrench comes out of the Assenmacher Unplugged the spark plug tool and left the Assenmacher socket tool deep in the spark plug hole as it held tight to the spark plug now installed in the engine. No wobble will cause Assenmacher's spark plug tool to dislodge from the spark plug. The solution: When installing new spark plugs, do not insert the spark plugs deeply into the Assenmacher socket. Just insert it deep enough but not securely attached to the rubber grommet. Try to remove the spark plug with your fingers and get it to the point where it sticks to the tool but comes off easily. This way the Assenmacher tool doesn't rub heavily on the new spark plug. Tighten the spark plug carefully by hand. Once tightened to the correct torque, the tool will disengage from the spark plug without disengaging from the wrench. The idea is not to press the tool against the spark plug. It was quite frustrating trying to figure out and remove the spark plugs a few times only to make sure the tool ended up loosening.
