These are really great sheets. I like to sleep in a cold room under lots of fluffy blankets and I was afraid that the sheets would be cold, but quite the opposite - they provide warmth and comfort. I have only washed them once when they arrived but I have washed them on the gentle cycle in lukewarm water and they are shrinking or have other problems. I am ordering another set. Highly recommended. UPDATE: I've had these sheets for 9 months now, I've washed them many, many times and they are still as beautiful and comfortable as when I received them. They have no hooks or protruding threads. These are the Stepford Wives bed sheets - too good to be true, especially for the price! I wash them on the normal cycle with lukewarm water and dry them on the gentle cycle without fabric softener which I don't need as they are so soft and luxurious. The top sheet is really oversized in both length and width which is great for our full size bed and also allows at least 60cm of extra length for the sheet to be tucked securely under the mattress to keep it from slipping out of the mattress.
