They've quickly become a favorite little crockery in our household, and we already have shapes. Nobody pours ketchup or other sauces directly onto the plate anymore. Everyone is attracted to one of them. I think it's because of the slant of the bowl wall and the wide opening. The color is also off-white, not the grayish white that porcelain can be (see image).
