Flexible, but what can you expect from thin metal? Katanas in particular are very durable and I like their variety. I have tested the material and it is safe to heat (the concentrates never burn above 800 degrees Fahrenheit). However, they melt when burned with a propane torch at 4000 degrees. Find out lol. Sorry for those of you enduring 4000+ degrees XD
