This is a quality rug pad - I have one from Ethan Allen and this one is much more substantial without being too much. Also, the wrong size was shipped accidentally and the seller immediately shipped out the right size and was very responsive. I will probably order from this same seller when we get our dining room rug.

We had a rug (6'x8') that slid all over no matter which "big box" rug pad we used. We purchased this based on the recommendations and it was/is awesome. Holds the rug exactly where we placed it and neither running pets (180# mastiff) or children (three teenage boys) causes the rug to move. We bought another for a different rug (higher traffic area) and it (2'x7') too holds perfectly. We'll buy more of this brand for our other rugs.

I put the 1/4' pad under a 9x12 Persian rug over hardwood. Between when I put the pad down and when I actually wrestled the rug into place, the kid played with Gravitrax on it and our French bulldog occasionally cavorted on it. It pilled up in little tufts here and there, but did not suffer any meaningful damage. Pad still slips on hardwood floor and seller is extremely tough to work with on returns.UPDATEAfter I fully explained my situation, they refunded me! It was a lot of back and forth, but I am just as much to blame for that as the vendor. I would buy from them again.

This pad makes me cheap, kid-proof family room rug so much softer and more comfortable to sit and walk on! It also helps the rug not get matted down so quickly.

Non-slip side was just right in the amount of grip. Was easy to position prior to putting the rug on. Felt side was, likewise, in the just right range for the amount of friction/grip. Using it with a nice fine weave rug that is pliable enough that, without the pad, it would tend to bunch up. Still only took about 10-15 minutes of fiddling to get everything positioned properly.I'll probably be ordering another for my hallway runner.

These are good rug pads go great with the rugs I purchased.No slip on the hardwood floor, almost purchased some for double the price on rugsusa but decided to give these a try and am happy I did

My area rug was constantly bunched up because of canine wrestle mania & hardwood floors. The corners would slip and it drove me crazy. This pad fixed my woes and added more cush than I expected. I ordered a size bigger than my rug, trimming was easy, and the room looks amazing. Super quick delivery.

I have my rug and pad on a ceramic floir. The pad works well for adhesion and some cushion. We had to cut it as 6’7” c 9 feet was larger than the same size rug. It was easy to cut.

I have hardwood floors and purchased a low pile rug. I enjoy lounging/sitting on rugs so wanted something that would make it super comfortable.I wouldn't call it "soft" per se, but it definitely adds padding that is a great sound muffler, especially of you live in an apartment or condo. It's just not as plush as I personally would have liked. But the rubber padding definitely keeps it from sliding around

Happy with the purchase. Went to order a second one and the price had jumped 30% in a week. The price moves day-to-day. For the 2x3, shoot for $25 and ignore anything +$30.

Purchased the 3/8” thick rug pad for a natural woven jute rug on hardwood floor. It has been set up for a day and so far I’m very pleased with how it stays in place and the thickness. It really makes the natural rug much more comfortable to stand on.

Bought this for a 5x7 rug I purchased recently. It’s a true 5x7 mat, so I needed help getting the rug centered exactly on top, it’s very good at gripping the floor and the rug. Highly recommend this in any size.

It’s not too cushy, but the non-slip works great. I stretched my (thin) rug over it and both the rug and pad stay in place beautifully. My dog is disappointed because she used to love sliding the carpets around and she can’t do that anymore.🙂

This is the second 9 x 12 rug pad I've purchased from them. One for each bedroom. The rubbery side keeps the rug from slipping and the felt side makes it soft under the rug. Both times the pad has been a little larger than the rug. So I've had to cut it with a scissors about an inch on two sides to fit under the rug and not be seen. Not hard to do but takes some time.

Looks nearly identical to the ones I bought at big furniture store, but was about half the cost! Glad I found this one. I bought several.

Arrived in good shape. Keeps the carpet from moving around. Evens out the feel of the floor and adds a little cushion. That's my feedback.

This underpad arrived quickly and was packaged so that it was very easy to place and position on the floor. It seems well made and is exactly as described. We are awaiting the new rug to place on top of it; but it's nice to be able to give it a few days to lie flat in place.

This rug pad is just as described. I had to cut it a little to fit. I ordered a 8x10 is was bigger .(better than to small). It’s was the thickest I could find that was anti- slip. It works great the rug lays flat and no slipping.

Used under our Pursian handmade rug. Gives the rug support as it's not being pressed against the hardwood, and allows cushion underfoot. Should have done this many years ago.
