The legs of these tights have no foot shape. There is no heel and the toe is very wide and square like in the photo. However, this is not a problem for us. We simply cut off the bottom with scissors and my daughter wears them with socks or barefoot under her dress. I was afraid they would fall apart after machine washing and falling apart where I cut the seams on my toes, but they are holding up great. The small size is perfect for my skinny 29 lb daughter with room to grow and they are holding up great. They are very stretchy, beautiful and very opaque, but not bulky. Also, the polka dots are smooth on the inside so it doesn't bother. We love pink with blue polka dots.
