At one point, they decided to buy it as a replacement for the Pentax M10 that had been unsuccessful. That every comparison should be made in relation to the camera that was just mentioned. I am extremely content with the quality of the images, despite the fact that I am not a professional. The majority of the video clips have an excellent level of production value. When I was looking for a camera, I read that this particular model does not play any sound when watching videos, but this is not the case. In fact, the salesperson in the store told me the same thing. When viewing the video on the camera, the sound will play in the background. The most bothersome disadvantage is the protracted period of time required for charging the flash (especially critical when photographing children - while it is charging, you have time to miss not a single good frame). My wife is not a fan of how there is no zoom function when recording videos, despite the fact that I do not consider this a drawback in any way, shape, or form (but this is due to the fact that Pentax had such an opportunity). As a result, an excellent purchase for personal use that is also affordable. Despite the fact that I believe it should not be difficult to locate something more contemporary that falls within the same price range, this does not guarantee that the more contemporary option is superior.
