It turns out that tissues don't spread very well - when about half the contents have been used - from a box that has been tipped on its side. The remaining tissue slides to the bottom of the box and pulls in the "next" tissue. They then resort to catching the napkin, trying not to pull the piece out all at once. the whole time on the verge of sneezing at 65 mph. Wow! It's also worth repeating the previous reviews: 3-3.5 inch high boxes (when traditionally oriented and not tilted on their sides) fit well, but 5 inch not so well. So expect (whatever) that you might have to buy a box of tissues instead of just taking what you already have in your house.
