It took 4 hours for two of us to assemble. A few of the internal metal brackets used to join upper and lower sections stripped and screws for other parts required some care to not over tighten as well. A warning comes with the directions to check and retighten all the screws every 6 months, which is not really feasible against a wall and without taking everything off the shelves. I bought some lock-tight and put that on all the screws, hoping that will work.

poor quality rickety you can NEVER tighten up the screws It states that you need to tighten every MONTH but there is a gap at every screw that you can not tighten. This shelf is EXACTLY what we were looking for. Assembly is easy, just pay attention to the direction of the metal sides and you're good to go. Sturdy, and SO spacious. Received in good condition and on time. Not a huge deal to put together - just need to pay attention to the orientation of where the mounting holes are and think a step or two ahead. I had to take a section apart once as the next step would not have fit. Overall took about an hour. Looks great and was just what I was looking for.Would recommend.

It’s rare that I am impressed enough to write a quick review. I assumed this purchase was a gamble - given the price. I was pleasantly surprised at the entire experience. The packaging was well done, the fixings were good quality and the finish of everything was great. It was one of the best made pieces of furniture I have seen in a long time!

I don’t know why some reviewers have said it’s difficult to assemble - I did it with 2 Toddlers circling me while stealing my tools and hardware. piece of cake!

This bookcase looks great! It’s not difficult to assemble with directions, but it takes a while and you definitely need to follow the steps. It seems pretty sturdy and it has a good amount of space on it.
