Review on ๐Ÿฅฏ Bread Bagel Bag Clips: The Ultimate Solution to Keep Your Baked Goods Fresh! by Pablo Rudon

Ideal for bread bags as well as general use

These are great little clips. Their unique hole-in-the-center design makes them suitable for bread bags, while the flat ends make them suitable for all-purpose chip clips. Purchasing these clips was a pleasure; Without her I could have lived the rest of my life just fine. But I'm glad to know that I no longer have to rummage through the trash for an intact bread clip or twist my tie when it inevitably snaps. Even if they don't break, the disposable clips that most bread bags have are so flimsy that the bag will still unravel when I pick it up! There's something nice about using a well-made product, even something as small as this. The springs are strong which I like, although I can understand some of the comments about them being difficult to use with arthritis. Let the buyer be alert. We have other larger clips with really hard springs for chips etc although they are definitely strong enough to use for large/hard bags if you don't already have a solution. I think you'll find that they outperform most flimsy "chip clip" products on the market. Eventually we started using them to seal our frozen food bags (e.g. corn, peas, berries). It's basically like sealing a haversack, but 1) freezer bags tend to be thicker and 2) the cold makes the plastic tougher. I'll give it some more time to see how things work in practice, but I can use a drill to widen the holes on some to fit freezer bags. Even so, these clamps are superior to the weaker Swissmar clamps that relatives gave us years ago. So far, so good!
