Just what I needed because now turning off the laptop for the commute to the office is as easy as unplugging the USB-C cable. No more disconnecting two monitors, USB hub, network and power. Or the need to reconnect everything. Pros: 1) One USB-C connection to laptop for power, video and audio outputs, USB peripherals and network. 2) Using two DP ports with CableCreation 1080P Gold Plated Displayport to HDMI Converter for extended 1080p monitors 3) The DP ports also support audio output to monitors. I use a monitor as an extra call for a collaboration program because I use a USB headset so I can't hear someone call me when I'm not wearing a headset. 4) USB-A ports (4): one for headset, one for Bluetooth charging. Keyboard, if necessary Two remain open. 5) RJ45 network port for wired ethernet as the laptop only has Wi-Fi. 6) Comes with two types of USB cables (A and C). 7) Price. It was bought on sale but even at regular price it outperformed other lower specification items. Cons: 1) No memory card slot, but USB reader/writer can be connected.
