Don't waste your time.

This was the worst item I have ever bought from Revain. The 3M adhesive on the back was nothing like the quality I've seen and used on similar products. The product was of poor quality. After finally trying to glue the item myself because of the awful tape, I finally gave up and threw it away. Not worth buying, save your money to replace a stolen item.

It's not easy to drop a combo.

cannot install the new combination correctly. I tried repeatedly, carefully following the not-so-well-drawn instructions, awkwardly sticking the button into the reset button, and twisting the dials. I don't know what to do next. Should I try again and block the other four leaving a useless combination of 0000? How to fix two that won't open?

DO NOT BUY - Failed to unlock

The lock is stuck and the key will not turn. It's permanently stuck in my computer monitor. I've tried everything. I ended up cutting the wire.

Seems to work with laptop accessories

Seems to work well - fits 13" MacBook Pro (Mid 2012); although it's a little tight. Have yet to try the plate (it seems looks like it's attached with glue - not sure how secure it will be.) Other than that, no complaints.Available quiet if I need to go out for a minute.

standard laptop security locks; good value for 10 packs

These are standard locks for use with the Kensington security slots found on most laptops and other peripherals. The rubberized security cable is of adequate thickness to deter theft, yet flexible enough to allow the cable to be maneuvered when needed. Getting the lock to click properly can be a problem.

Very good value for money - notebook accessory

See it works well but it's a liability issue. This one is pretty good and should be safe, but any of them can be foiled by someone with the right power and tool. But every lock can be opened!

The locks work perfectly, the anchor plate has no adhesive backing.

Cable lock is what I bought it for as I already have space to lock. However, if you're buying this for the cable lock AND the anchor plate, note that my anchor plate didn't have the 3M adhesive pad on the back to attach it to the laptop. So to justify my 3 star rating. I gave the locks 5 stars and the anchor plate 1 star. 5+1=6, 6 stars / 2 items = 3 star rating.

Installed straight out of a plastic bag - no instructions

I bought this because I recently got hacked into something that was once anti-theft. In this case, the thief broke in through the first floor window and literally ripped the safe off the wall! He left behind a computer, an iPad, a PlayStation and a massive silver statue that I received when I left Saudi Arabia. To say that this was the motivation for acquiring these items would be an understatement! The package came in a plastic bag. There were no instructions, no warranty papers, not even anโ€ฆ
