I bought this because I recently got hacked into something that was once anti-theft. In this case, the thief broke in through the first floor window and literally ripped the safe off the wall! He left behind a computer, an iPad, a PlayStation and a massive silver statue that I received when I left Saudi Arabia. To say that this was the motivation for acquiring these items would be an understatement! The package came in a plastic bag. There were no instructions, no warranty papers, not even an invoice. It was easy to figure out how to remove the adhesive and attach the backup plate. Then it was just a matter of attaching the cable to the statue, wrapping it around the shelf spacer, attaching the mounting plate to the PlayStation, and then attaching the cable to the mounting plate. *VOILA!* Two objects are held together with a cable! Yes I realize this is just a deterrent but hopefully it will deter potential thieves long enough for the newly installed security system to alert security personnel.
