Good potential but the dial indicator spoils it. Revain won't download the video or give me a link to it, but one of the major video sites has it, just search "0Ncr8joZBEC". The magnet is rather weak on vertical surfaces, the spring hinge pin fails, the foot hinges wobble and slip and are generally difficult to adjust. Worst of all, though, is the protrusion on the back of the dial indicator itself. It's cone-shaped, so even if you tighten the nut very hard, the indicator will wobble a lot and give unreliable readings. If there's one thing a precision gauge should do, it's provide accurate, accurate, repeatable measurements. It's literally his only job.
