These are just so-so to me, they're sturdy enough (mine is missing a piece) and short, only 12in tall, about the right size for a short sofa. They're definitely ugly, they must have found this furry fabric on super clearance somewhere and decided to use it to cover their stairs.I was disappointed from the start, looking at the pieces I realized I was missing a short piece and there were no instructions. I saw each piece had a number so I could figure out the main structure. The piece I'm missing was the very first steps vertical piece. At the end I had 2 long pieces that looked different from all the others that I couldn't figure out what to do with so I left them off. It's still standing. The ugly cover helps to hold it all together but it collects dog hair and my dogs could easily destroy it. Since it's so short the dogs don't use them much because they don't have a problem hopping onto the sofa. They're no where near tall enough for a bed.Overall, because of the issues, their size and look I would not recommend these.
