Vera Bradley had a zipped wallet that could be used as a clutch. The most important thing is that the wallet opens and lies flat and not like an accordion. Eventually, to my great dismay, this style was discontinued. I'm very picky about wallets, so I stubbornly used the one with the zipper, even though after ten years of use it started to wear out. The Trifold Clutch wallet opens and lays flat. This is my favorite part of the wallet. I see everything at once and have easy access to money, cards and change. The wallet has two zipped compartments, an outer coin compartment and an inner compartment. The inner one can be used for small items if you want to carry the wallet day or night. You can also put a check book in it and there is room for 14 cards plus an ID slot. The outer part of the wallet is made of microfiber. I checked Vera Bradley's website for care instructions and it says to machine wash on cold gentle cycle, bleach only when needed without chlorine and dry flat. The only part of the wallet I don't like is the white interior. , as I'm afraid it will get dirty over time. But I feel a little better knowing I can wash my wallet.
