Great alternative to traditional Tamiya Bottled Panel Liner

These pens come just shy of delivering the same panel lining effects/quality of the traditional bottled Tamiya panel lining ink/brush set. While the ink tends to not flow quite as smoothly as the previously mentioned bottled panel liner, it's far easier to clean and to correct mistakes as the ink seems to be more soluble and be corrected typically by just using an eraser as opposed to having to use thinners and risk harming the plastic. The only real improvement I would like to see if for the…

Pros
  • Very easy to use.
Cons
  • The product is relatively expensive compared to other markers and paints that can be used for Gundam models

Use with care - my new review

Works very similarly to Tamiya Panel Liner but in marker form. If you don't have some q tips and thinner or isopropyl alcohol on hand be careful, but with some caution and practice this can be a lot quicker and easier to use than Tamiya Panel Liner

Pros
  • Arrives at 11 days. Very quick delivery and good quality!
Cons
  • The marker may dry out easily if not properly stored, which can be frustrating for users who have invested in the product

Beginners beware. Not a paint pen. Not returnable.

Label says: Do not use on over coats as it will dissolve, it will smudge on finished surfaces, ONLY on plastic, BUT BUT BUTT this is not meant for ABS, whish is ironically most of what gets panel lined. Plus pour type does not mean it is like the chisel tips.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • The marker's tip may wear down quickly after repeated use, making it difficult to achieve precise lines and details

Must have for easy panel lining!

Just shake dab on a paper then simply just tap where the lines are, the ink will flow into place like magic! let it dry then use either a large rubber eraser or I recommend the Gundam marker eraser in my picture look at the head of this MS you can see how well the marker can fill in the smallest lines after wiping away the extra ink with a Gundam marker.

Pros
  • Great for my gundams help show off the details.
Cons
  • The marker's scent can be overpowering and unpleasant, making it difficult to use for extended periods of time

Easy way to panel line gunpla

These are the easiest, and quickest, way to panel line gunpla. These allow the ink to flow into all the details, like panel washing, but without the need for thinner and brushes. They also do a better job than just a pen, as they can fill in the finer lines, for a cleaner look. It's also a lot quicker than tracing each line, then cleaning up the excess. You'll still need other markers and pens, to do a good job, as they all have their uses, but these are my favorite.

Pros
  • Excellent marker. Makes panel lining much easier.
Cons
  • Some users may have difficulty getting the marker to flow smoothly, leading to patchy or uneven coverage on their models

Gunpla Liner best in my review

first one lost via post office but was shipped a second recived it on my birthday! and already pined a few kits works wonderfully! when this one is done I will order another!

Pros
  • Good Gundam marker for panel lining
Cons
  • I got this for a RC drift car to do details, runs like crazy on plastic

Easy clean up best in my review

Best pen out there, better than the fine tip markers, cleaner lines and easy to clean. Would recommend and will be buying more. Use enamel thinner on cotton swab to clean any excess ink

Pros
  • Na
Cons
  • The pour type can be difficult to control, leading to dripping or smudging if the user is not experienced with the technique

Fantastic! Very good and easy to use for panel lining.

Incredible. These pens are way easier to use than doing a panel wash. During clean up of the excess, start with a QTip dipped in Isopropyl Alcohol, and then use a dry one to clean up the line. I also dig out the lines a little more to fix the clean up as well. Also, if you use them for weathering, I use a dry qtip to wipe up the ink first, to spread it around. Then I'll use a qtip dipped in Isopropyl Alcohol to do the clean up. Makes a great "dirtied" look.

Pros
  • Introducing a special pouring type of paint marker that utilizes capillary action to apply color to panel lines and other thin spaces to imitate the shadows of metal plates, grime, and dirt
Cons
  • The product may not be easily accessible for users outside of certain regions, limiting its availability and adding to shipping costs for those who want to order it online

Buyer Beware for my opinion

So I bought this to make painting my figures easier, and well. yeah it broke one of my figures beyond repair.I should add, this break only happened AFTER I applied the paint pen to my figure. So Buyer Beware I guess.

Pros
  • I build plastic models so this pen will come in handy.
Cons
  • Of all of the paint pens that I've ever purchased this is the only one that blew up all over a project
