Review on 🔬 Exploring Scientific Concepts with AoHu Science Educational Building Experiment by Alfonso Alexander

I purchased this item as a fun STEM activity for my second year of high school, but I will be returning this item. It took us a full day to initially assemble all 190 "easy to assemble" pieces as they are small plastic parts connected together. The next day we started assembling the main part of the robot - the gearbox and the head. It took another 2+ hours with lots of frustration and confusion. There are no words in the instructions, just small pictures and it doesn't even say which step will be the first. When I finally figured out how to assemble it properly, the plastic gears didn't match, so it spun for about 5 seconds when activated by light, then got stuck. This is definitely not a product that an 8 year old could make on their own, let alone a bunch of 30 year olds haha. In addition, a solar power plant must be exposed to direct sunlight at all times for it to work; It doesn't store energy. So if you think you'll use it indoors, think twice.
