First off, my Dell 17 3000 laptop REALLY fit in my bag and I didn't have to stuff it in for it to fit. I wasn't expecting much for a very small amount (eighteen plus dollars) so I can't say I was disappointed because what do you expect for such a small price? In my case, I have no intention of traveling with this laptop at all, otherwise I would buy a much better bag/case. I just wanted to put the laptop in something so the laptop wouldn't collect dust, and also very rarely was I able to take it with me on a trip. So I got pretty much what I expected. But maybe to help others I will provide the following information. The grips appear to be quite "cheap" as they crack/break fairly easily after prolonged use. Also, there wasn't much padding around the perimeter. The zipper was plastic, so I guess it won't take too much abuse (maybe all zippers are like that? Don't know). The stuff was. I don't know how to describe it. No fabric, no leather, of course, but I wasn't expecting anything special here either. I don't know how long it lasts, not for a long time. Haven't attached the strap yet so can't comment on that. One thing I don't like, and it's probably petty of me to complain, is that when a laptop is put in a bag, the two internal dividers/pockets, whatever they are, can be accessed with one hand must be kept separate when you insert the notebook. While this bag doesn't offer much protection, it does offer something.
