As a teacher, I use a paper cutter all the time. The problem is that the paper cutter is halfway across campus and sometimes I need it right away. Scissors never give me the straight line I need. So it was amazing to have my own paper cutter in my own class. It arrived mostly assembled, I just had to attach the handle, which was easy enough. The paper cutter is sharp and gives a clean cut if you're not trying to cut too many pages at once. The handle closes easily when not in use and I like the mechanism it uses to do this as it doesn't leave a gap between the blade and base like you would in an office workshop.
