In this one I made an outdoor light control box for our front gate. So far the machines are good and reliable. But some basic problems. In direct sunlight, the lid expands as much as the box, causing the pressed lid to deform in the center and the gasket to come out of contact right at the top center. Rain goes in the box. This problem was solved by temporarily putting a protective strip of black vinyl tape along the top joint after closing, but pain in A--. . . Now I build a sunshade to protect the box from direct sunlight. Also a small complaint. The internal screws holding the hinges are plated so poorly that they're all evenly reduced to a rusty mess. Now looking for sheet metal screws with the correct metric pitch (I think).
