This is my favorite thimble for quilting and hand sewing. I'm tired of thimbles at my favorite store and this one is my favorite. I even bored some expensive custom thimbles. The thimble is adjustable so you get the perfect fit; This was a problem with many other thimbles that were either too big or too small. The indentations are deep and prevent the needle from slipping, so you can easily thread several stitches through the needle at the same time. The thimble pad is larger and lighter than custom thimbles; makes the thimble more practical and convenient at a much cheaper price. There is a small burr at the tip which is great for scraping a stubborn knot or coaxing the tip of the needle. I wore my first and was happy to see they are still on the market.
