I am very glad that I bought this DIY kit. This kit couldn't make it easier. I cracked the screen of my iPhone XR and found the repair was successful. I watched a few YouTube videos for instructions (it's still the same content, but finding a good YouTuber for the step-by-step process is crucial - there are plenty of them - I didn't have to long search). The hardest part was removing the damaged display and separating it from the adhesive. I had to use a razor blade to wedge in to create a gap to rip the screen. I took my time and finally took it apart. I was feeling a bit down, but once I got over that, the rest of the process was as easy as building Lego. My iPhone XR now works like new with a flawless screen. The quality is excellent for what it is (not an Apple replacement). When I finished I felt done and had a lot of fun throughout the process (1-2 hours total was spent on this project). One thing I would like to point out is that the "True Tone" option no longer appears on the display. I've learned that if this isn't an official Apple repair, this will be the result. I have no problem with this as my screen is now like new and very cheap. I didn't have to deal with the hassle of going to a third-party repair shop or Apple Store. This set does it all.
